Batec was founded in 1989 between Mantova refinery, today IES-Italiana Energia e Servizi S.p.A. and Eurovia (Vinci Group). The company mission is:


- production, into its Mantova plant 
  (over 40.000 TM yearly production capacity) 
  of polymer modified bitumens:

  POLYPLAST AV (very high modify)
  POLYPLAST A 1 (high modify)
  POLYPLAST A 2 (medium modify)
  POLYPLAST B 1 (low modify)

- and marketing to resellers and end user clients
  which operate in the road construction,
  pavements maintenance, airports and highways.




Since December 1998 Batec is quality certified by ICMQ and IQNet.

80% of the Pmb’s productions is sold into italian domestic market, whilst 20% is exported. All products are checked by IES chemical laboratory, also by external certified laboratoires to control accordance with the specifications required.

All these operations are under the supervision of our quality procedure.
